Based at Underwood Road Depot, you will work as part of a team to deliver frontline Neighbourhood services operations across Renfrewshire. You will be responsible for participating in activities specifically related to the day-to-day functioning of a range of Neighbourhood Services operations e.g. refuse collection, loading, landscaping areas, uplift, grass cutting, weed management, parks maintenance, pavement gritting amongst other duties.
You will be expected to operate and undertake duties across the full range and remit of Neighbourhood Services providing effective, modern front-line service to the residents of Renfrewshire.
You will also be required to carryout general grounds maintenance duties such as grass cutting, litter removal, bin emptying and leaf removal.
You will be required to rotate across the various depots as required in line with the needs of the service.
Experience in a similar working environment, dealing with the general public and business community. Health and safety procedural knowledge and previous experience of manual work are essential.
You must have effective communication and interpersonal skills and be prepared to work in inclement weather conditions.
Experience of working within a Neighbourhood Services environment is desirable as well as a current driving licence.
You will be required to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
