Sales & Events Manager
Overview
The Sales & Events Manager is responsible for maximising and growing the prebooked sales for multiple venues within a dynamic hospitality company, operating across a variety of bar and restaurant brands. This role involves executing sales strategies to achieve and exceed prebooked sales targets while supporting overall venue revenue goals.
Salary:
Up to £38,000 DOE + Bonus

The ideal candidate will be proactive, identifying and seizing sales opportunities to ensure high conversion rates from enquiry to booking. They will possess excellent presentation skills, attention to detail, and be skilled in writing proposals and negotiating with clients. A positive, flexible, and collaborative approach to work is essential.
Personal Requirements
1. A minimum of 2 years' sales experience within the hospitality industry.
2. Proven ability to grow prebooked sales across consumer parties and corporate events.
3. Strong organisational and administrative skills, with experience using booking and CRM platforms.
4. Good understanding of digital sales strategies, including social media and online booking platforms.
Responsibilities
1. Drive prebooked sales across all venues, covering consumer and corporate events (e.g., birthdays, social parties, corporate bookings, restaurant reservations, Christmas parties).
2. Utilise sales tools to generate both reactive and proactive bookings through digital and direct sales channels.
3. Collect and analyse customer feedback to enhance repeat business and increase visit frequency.
4. Work closely with the marketing team to ensure content on websites and social media channels aligns with the target audience and drives engagement.
5. Maintain and develop key corporate client relationships, ensuring smooth execution of events.
6. Participate in the creation and execution of sales plans to achieve prebooked sales targets.
7. Attend networking events to promote the venues and build industry connections.
8. Collaborate with venue management and the wider sales team to maximise sales opportunities.
9. Conduct client show rounds and represent the venue for event bookings.
10. Support General Managers in achieving overall sales and business targets through local initiatives, promotional events, and strategic partnerships.
11. Continuously expand and maintain a high-quality consumer and corporate client database.
12. Manage venue enquiry and CRM systems to ensure accurate reporting and analysis of sales performance.
13. Assist with the organisation and execution of events to engage key clients and event bookers.
