Role OverviewAbout the Role
You will study towards a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative qualification while gaining experience working on varied tasks and projects across the site.
This Technical Operator Apprentice role will involve working a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, 6am – 6pm.
Key Responsibilities
Help investigate, analyse and drive continuous improvement across the production environment.
Define and assist in collating and updating Standard Operating Procedures, Centreline, Process Fault Trees, and Downtime recording, focusing on Symptom – Cause – Remedy.
Support with daily/weekly machine autonomous maintenance checks/shift inspectors and highlight any defects immediately via the work request system.
Competently operate production machinery across the site.
Work on Site-Wide Projects
Existing equipment efficiency process improvement
Continuous improvement of efficiency, cost, and material usage
Working with the management team to drive the work process adoption and improvement plans
