Your role:
This position offers you hands-on experience within the project management of loans across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, from researching new enquiries and dealing with clients to portfolio management. You will assist the underwriting process through to completion and ensure clients have a good experience. You will have a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the growth of our presence across Ireland.
Your responsibilities:
Your primary responsibility is to assist on the project management of loan applications, which includes:
* Organising, filing and keeping track of all applications and outstanding loans;
* Being in daily contact with loan applicants, brokers and all other parties involved in the loan application process;
* Assisting the Underwriting Team in assessing and approving loan applications (including conducting financial analysis on loan applicants and proposals);
* Assisting the Operations Team in coordinating funding (providing status updates on new loan proposals, management of data on internal funding platform);
* Assisting the Portfolio Management Team (including risk reviews, reviewing monitoring covenants, processing drawdowns and full and partial redemptions);
* Performing Anti-Money-Laundering (AML), Know-Your-Customer (KYC), and fraud checks;
* Conducting market analysis and evaluating industry trends;
* Creating targeted market materials for external distribution;
* Instructing and liaising with our valuers and solicitors.
About you:
* University graduate with strong academic track record;
* Knowledge and interest in the property market throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland;
* Excellent communication and commercial skills;
* Outstanding project management and organisation skills;
* Strong numerical skills and proficiency with Excel;
* Critical, pragmatic, proactive: a hands-on problem solver with a can-do attitude;
* Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines;
* Effective team player;
* Eager to learn and push your boundaries within a growing company;
* Eligible to work in the UK.
