We’re looking for a Registered Manager to launch and lead a brand-new solo placement EBD children’s home in Wolverhampton (WV3). This is your chance to create something special, build a strong team, and have a huge impact on a young person’s life.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Registered Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind setting up and running this home, working closely with the Responsible Individual and Directors to ensure everything’s in place, from day one, to deliver the best care possible. Here’s what the role involves:
* Lead the Way with Ofsted Registration & Compliance – Ensure the home is set up for success, aiming for that "Good" or "Outstanding" rating.
* Build a Rock-Solid Team – You’ll recruit, train, and lead a fantastic team who are passionate about providing child-focused care.
* Tailored, Trauma-Informed Care – Develop and implement care plans that are personalised to meet the emotional and behavioural needs of the child.
* Partner with the Right People – Work alongside local authorities, social workers, and families to make sure the child has all the support they need.
* Keep Things Running Smoothly – Manage budgets and resources to maintain high standards while making sure everything runs like clockwork.
* Create a Positive Home Culture – Foster a home where both staff and children feel safe, supported, and motivated.
What We’re Looking For:
We need a leader who’s ready to take on the challenge of building and managing a solo placement home from the ground up. To be a great fit, you’ll need:
* You’ve been a Registered Manager before, with solid experience in EBD residential care.
* You know your way around Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and best practices.
* A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children and Young People’s Services (or working towards it).
* You’re a natural motivator who leads by example and knows how to mentor and support a team.
* You’ve got experience in trauma-informed, person-centred care and are passionate about helping young people heal and grow.
* You genuinely care about transforming the lives of vulnerable children and delivering the best outcomes.
What You Get in Return:
* Salary up to £55,000 per year.
* As the company grows, so will your opportunities to move into senior leadership roles.
* Continuous training and qualifications to help you advance in your career.
* Full support to create the home’s culture and success with the backing of an experienced provider.
If you’re looking for a leadership role that’s genuinely rewarding and full of potential, we’d love to hear from you.
