About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to work in a dynamic and innovative research environment and collaborate with leading anthropology researchers.
You will be responsible for establishing and developing the consultancy activities of the EI-Lab, and you will be involved in strategic planning, business development, client engagement, and operational management to expand the lab's impact and reach.

The position will be available in early, initially for six months. There is some flexibility regarding the duration of the initial contract, depending on the FTE agreed, and potential to extend the role subject to funding. Although advertised as a FTE part-time position, there is some flexibility with the exact FTE/hours for this role, which can be negotiated with the successful candidate, making it particularly suitable for someone wishing to undertake this position alongside other freelance or consultancy role(s).
About you
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development within academic or research settings, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of consultancy services.
