Band 8d, full time, £88,168 - £101,677 per annum
The role demands an experienced operational leader, in order to drive the continuous improvement in the operational delivery of care for our service users. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will provide overall leadership to the development and effective operation of services across the Trust. You will be a dynamic and ambitious individual, who is seeking such an opportunity as a step on your career journey to a Board level position.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work closely with the Associate Directors, providing leadership support and management on behalf of the Executive Director of Operations. Specifically, the post holder will be responsible for providing day to day leadership and ensuring safe, high quality and efficient delivery of operational patient services across the Trust.

Job responsibilities
On behalf of the Chief Operating Officer, you will work with the Associate Directors to ensure that the Trust meets the needs of patients, achieves set and agreed standards relating to quality, finance and performance. You will also lead on defined business developments on a Trust-wide basis. You will be an inspiring and credible operational manager with the energy, drive and determination to successfully respond to the changing expectations and needs of the NHS. To be appointed, you will need to demonstrate mature leadership skills and should have excellent interpersonal skills, which ensure you are able to empower and lead teams to deliver high quality patient care.
Person Specification
* Degree or equivalent / Qualification in leadership or management or equivalent experience
* Significant experience (at least 5 years) at a Senior Manager level or above within the NHS
* Hold (or working towards) an EPRR qualification
