E-Rostering & Registration Authority (RA) Administrator

The successful candidate will join our accomplished team supporting the organisation to deliver safe and effective care to our patients through effective rostering across a variety of different specialties and professions.
We are looking for an individual with strong IT skills who has excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with the wider teams. The role will include working to tight deadlines and timescales whilst developing and maintaining effective communications with all internal and external parties and the ability to manage the expectations of our stakeholders.
Main duties of the job
1. Responsible for the day-to-day support of the HealthRoster and Registration Authority Systems.
2. Provide training and support to new and current users to ensure all Operational, Nursing and Clinical leads are able to use all Workforce systems to full potential.
3. Work across all the Allocate Systems and provide Management information for Nursing, Medical & Dental and Admin & Clerical Staff.
4. Responsible for the delivery of a customer-focused, time-sensitive and comprehensive Registration Authority (RA) Service.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE level qualifications (or equivalent) in Math's & English Language.
* Willing to work towards an ACA Accreditation for Health Roster.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of the Trust's e-Rostering application (Allocate HealthRoster).
* Knowledge of Registration Authority and Position Based Access Control (PBAC).
* Knowledge & experience of using IT systems (including Microsoft applications).
* Knowledge of records management, information governance and data protection standards (GDPR).
* Knowledge of Trust & National Policies - AfC T's & C's, e-Roster, Expenses, RA.
* Knowledge of Registration Authority Governance (IG Toolkit).
* Experience of using electronic systems Time & Attendance (T&A), Expenses, CIS and TRAC.
* Experience of working in a team.
* Experience of providing a service to customers.
* Experience of using databases.
* Experience of training system users.
* Experience as an RA Agent.
Skills
* Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
* Keyboard and data entry skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of media.
* Ability to analyse a variety of sometimes complex situations / information and make decisions within guidelines.
* Ability to use own initiative and work to deadlines.
