As a member of the operation team, you will manage core business-as-usual activities and assist with process improvements across the organisation. You will develop a deep understanding of the full trade lifecycle. The ideal candidates should be eager to learn and able to understand new systems. A positive attitude towards making things better, good organizational skills, and a careful eye for detail will help you succeed in the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring that processes and procedures relating to payments are adhered to
* Assisting the team to ensure all day-to-day tasks outside of payment processing and reconciliation requirements are completed
* Ensure all payments are being processed in a timely manner
* Assisting in various reconciliations, including daily bank account reconciliation and trade reconciliation
* Processing of incoming payments and execution of outgoing payments
* Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries
* Liaising with our external counterparties to resolve queries
* Identifying system and process improvements and raising these for consideration
* With a proactive approach, take on ad hoc tasks and value-add project-based work in addition to day-to-day responsibilities
* Participate in team retrospective sessions, putting forward ideas for areas of process-related improvements and being consistently engaging
