The Roots HQ is growing and we’re looking for an Events and Project Manager who will be able to step in to support the team. This role is multifaceted and we are looking for someone with events and project management experience, as they will be taking over from the current employee.
Within this varied role you will have the opportunity to engage, inspire and uplift our community with fantastic events hosted by external experts as well as our Patch Managers. You’ll be connecting and collaborating with amazing brands as well as chatting directly with members on our WhatsApp groups. You’ll also work directly with the HQ team where you’ll support on marketing both internal and external with the help of copywriters and the Founders.

We are a flexible company in terms of where you work but ask that you can be in the office 2-3 days a week which is situated in the heart of Bristol.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Community management on our WhatsApp channels
2. Managing all production channels of and creating our monthly newsletter by instructing our copywriter, growing expert and CRM specialist to get it out on time.
3. Events organisation, budgeting and communications including some work on Canva
4. Managing our Freelance Designer with briefs alongside Founders Ed and Christian
5. Managing brand partnerships and collaborations from conception to delivery
6. Managing community partnerships including our surplus produce partners across each site
7. Buying and purchasing for our Patch Managers and staff
8. Marketing and OOH Project Tracking alongside Founders Ed and Christian
9. New services & products management on our website
10. Creating Contact Database List on Airtable to consolidate and increase efficiency within the role
About You
You have an interest in growing your own veggies and fruit as well as a talent and love for building community. You're happy to throw yourself into something that will give a lot back to you.
Proficient across the Google Suite
Experience in planning and executing events
Experience in project management, delivering on time and on budget
Creative and intuitive
Canva experience (not necessary but preferred)
Experience of using Webflow / Airtable / Active Campaign (not necessary but preferred)
