Decontamination Technician
We are now inviting applications for the post of Decontamination Technician. This is a full-time position based at Ramsay Sterile Services East, Braintree.
The Hub operates 24/7, and we are open to discussing flexible working patterns.
We seek enthusiastic, motivated individuals with at least 2 years' experience in decontamination of re-usable medical devices or who have completed a recognized decontamination course (NVQ/TVQ/Technical Certificate).

The successful applicant must have:
* Experience as a Decontamination Technician in a healthcare setting or similar environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
* Flexibility and adaptability
* Customer service skills
* Willingness to work occasional night shifts upon gaining competence
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing the full decontamination cycle on re-usable medical devices (surgical instruments) according to Ramsay policies and procedures
* Participating in quality control processes, ensuring procedures and documentation are completed accurately
