In business for more than 30 years with an excellent reputation and high-net worth, long term clients. Recognising sustained growth and with a trajectory of expansion, they are in need of an experienced Financial Planning Leader to oversee the next phase of development of the financial services division within the broader group.
The Position
1. Steer the strategy and growth initiatives to ensure the sustained success of the business unit.
2. Key member of the leadership team responsible for streamlining operations, engaging a large team and creating a roadmap for growth.
3. Lead, manage and make a significant contribution to the strategy execution and maintain a strong focus on governance.
4. Collaborate with the board to elevate business performance, optimising processes and enhancing systems.
5. Focus on Employee Engagement, Development and Retention strategies and establish accountability frameworks to assist with a more agile and flexible approach – create an opening and nurturing culture.

5. Commercially minded with a confident and solutions-based approach and an ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
6. In-depth understanding of business metrics, P&L management and reporting mechanisms.
7. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with well-developed interpersonal skills.
8. An ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively.
9. Demonstrated commitment to adapting to and managing change together with excellent organisational and time management skills.
10. Commitment to continuous improvement.
11. Recognised tertiary qualifications in accounting / financial services are essential.
