Job Role: Key Stage 1 Teacher Location: North Manchester, BL8 Job Type: full-time, temporary role available Salary: £120-£160 per day Application Deadline: 16th May 2025 Start Date: 2 nd June 2025 A primary school in the BL8 area is currently looking to recruit for a talented and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher from June 2025 until the end of the academic year. This school works hard to give their pupils access to a varied curriculum and encourages them to take active interest in enrichment activities, both inside and outside of the classroom. They place great emphasis on their pupils wellbeing and liaise with both pupils and parents alike to make sure that the children get the most out of their school experience. About this role: As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will play an important role in delivering the curriculum and enhancing the learning experience of your pupils. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning, preparing and delivering your own lessons each day. - Marking and assessing the pupils’ work - Giving your pupils the support and guidance they need to fulfil their academic potential and meet their goals (particular focus on working towards the phonics screener) - Managing behaviour in a classroom setting in line with the school’s behaviour policy and safeguarding measures. - Creating and sustaining a positive learning environment based on support in which your pupils can thrive. Requirements for this role: - Applicants must have a QTS. - An ambitious individual that is passionate about helping students achieve their full potential. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. - Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure all children are happy and successful. - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
