We have been engaged by one of Scotland’s largest consultancy firms to source a senior quantity surveyor to join their practice in Glasgow on a permanent basis. You’ll be joining a practice with a demonstrable pedigree in delivering quality work across Scotland with the benefit of repeat business which adds to an already strong order book for the years ahead.

As a senior quantity surveyor, you’ll have the opportunity to take a leading role in your own projects whilst also mentoring junior staff. To give an insight, some of the services this client offers which you’ll have the opportunity to be involved in include: Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Employers Agent, Project Management, CDM services, specialist M&E measurement, billing and costing, procurement and dispute resolution. These services, coupled with the breadth of their sector portfolio, mean you will truly get exposure to all markets.
The client is looking to bring on a candidate with a background in private practice as well as a strong understanding of both Pre and Post Contract work. You’ll be able to manage and deliver projects to a high standard within the agreed deadlines and work with the wider team to ensure the Practice continues to enjoy a sterling reputation.
