Head Workshop Mechanic - Field-Based

Location of the Job:
Field-based covering the South West: Bristol, Devon, and Dorset.
Salary and Benefits Package:
* Paying: £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience).
* New work vehicle - Mercedes Sprinter van.
* Relocation support is available for the right candidate.
* Time off in lieu.
Additional information:
* The role involves constant travel to meet customers and provide servicing and PDI's of machinery.
* Working hours vary by season: 8am - 5/6pm in summer and 9am - 3pm in winter.

The Job Role Details:
As a Head Workshop Mechanic, you will be responsible for pre-delivery inspections, servicing, and maintenance of new equipment rather than urgent repairs. The role requires extensive travel and independent working, ensuring top-quality service for customers across the region.
Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out pre-delivery inspections, servicing, and maintenance of new equipment.
* Work on a range of machinery, including agricultural machinery, tractors, excavators, amenity equipment, lawn care and garden equipment, wood chippers, scissor lifts, ATVs, UTVs, compact tractors, dumpers, and loaders.
* Travel between customer sites across the South West.
* Maintain high standards of servicing while working independently.
