Business Development Manager - Roofing Supplies Sector

We’ve been instructed by a fantastic new client who are looking for a Business Development Manager in the roofing supplies sector. Having achieved amazing year-on-year growth, this is a new role designed to take the business to the next level. You will be selling a range of roofing products to existing and new customers, from large distributors like Travis Perkins and Huws Gray, to small roofing contractors. You could be meeting a buyer one day, and a roofer the next.
You will be responsible for driving sales of the companies roofing product range across their 3 main branches. This is a customer-facing role with extensive travel across the region to ensure customers and branches are receiving the support they need on a daily basis.
Extensive roofing product knowledge is a must for this role. You will be confident using CRM systems, spreadsheets, outlook, and have the ability to analyse sales data to ensure continued growth.
The salary for this role will be £40 – 45,000 with a £4000-5000 car allowance TBC. Benefits include 23 days holiday, company pension, laptop and phone. This will be a largely remote role with the need to base yourself at the branches during the week as required. We love seeing diversity in our applicants.
