Job Title: Full-Time Teaching Assistant (Supply) • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM • Location: Coniston Cumbria • Position: Supply Contract • Duration: ASAP to July 2025 • Pay: £13.80 - £14.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications About the Role: We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic secondary school located in the heart of the stunning Lake District. This is a supply role starting ASAP and running until the end of the summer term 2025. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work with secondary-aged pupils across Years 7 to 11. Your responsibilities will include supporting whole classes, working with small groups, and providing one-to-one assistance to pupils with additional needs. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring every student has the support they need to thrive both academically and personally. Key Responsibilities: • Assist teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across the curriculum. • Support pupils in both whole-class settings and small group sessions. • Provide tailored one-to-one assistance for pupils with additional needs. • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. • Monitor and encourage student progress and engagement.
