Welfare Project Manager North London Borough Hybrid £350 - £382 (Umbrella) inside IR35 3 month contract CV's are being reviewed immediately and interviews will be taking place ASAP As the Welfare Project Manager you will report into the Benefits and lead a 3-month project across two teams. You will develop a new collaborative approach to ensure clarity in service offerings for residents, officers, and members. You will be responsible for designing a new integrated service model to support residents experiencing financial hardship. You will lead a critical review of the Council’s approach to Tackling Inequality. This review will evaluate the current functions of the Council’s Financial Support Team and explore options for delivering an enhanced service. Your role as Welfare Project Manager: Review inflows and outflows. Explore data utilisation to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness. Deliver a comprehensive review document covering all aspects of the project. Serve as a point of contact for officers to provide input and highlight improvement opportunities. Develop a draft project plan to support service improvements. Propose a new integrated team structure, including draft job descriptions and growth bids if necessary. Your previous experience as Welfare Project Manager: Significant experience in Project Management, delivering outputs and benefits on time and within budget. Experience in redesigning processes and services to deliver better value at lower cost. Experience in producing business cases, project briefs, and other project documentation. Strong understanding of issues facing councils and the local authority landscape. Knowledge of equity issues in public service provision.
