Elevate your social work career amidst the picturesque landscapes of Bracknell Forest, where the commitment to safeguarding children and young people is paramount. Join a dedicated team in Bracknell, where your expertise will be instrumental in fostering positive, family-led outcomes that ensure the safety and stability of young lives.
In the heart of Bracknell, the council is seeking seasoned social workers to become integral members of their Children's Assessment Team. This role is not merely a job; it is a chance to make a profound difference in the lives of children and families, guiding them towards brighter futures.
The role involves conducting thorough Child and Family Assessments and, when necessary, Section 47 Child Protection enquiries. The aim is to discern the support needs of children, whether they require protection or care intervention. As a social worker in this role, one will have the support of Specialist Practitioners for complex assessments, allowing a focus on day-to-day interactions and interventions that are crucial for the children and families served. This is not a long-term caseholding role.
They need a Qualified Social Worker that is ready to help vulnerable children and their families really succeed and affect change. There are lots of progression opportunities too, with regular panels in place for internal promotions. The Managers are there to help you achieve your goals as much as you are there to help them achieve theirs.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Completed an ASYE in Children's Services
2. Social Work England Registration
3. Social Work Qualification
4. Right to Work in the UK
