Job Description
MECHANICAL/HYDRAULIC BIAS SERVICE ENGINEER ROLE!
Does representing for a global leader excite you? Are you a Service Engineer happy to be out in the field with good mechanical and hydraulics experience? Do you have some experience gained working offshore or if not, relish the thought of stays away out in the British shores? If you are based in or near Liverpool and are happy to travel and spend time away with potential earnings of up to £70,000pa on offer, then keep reading!
Tell me more!
As a Service Engineer, you will assess life-saving equipment in maritime settings - for example, winches and cranes on board vessels and offshore installations. With this equipment being exposed to the elements, these mechanical devices need replacing in certain time frames and due to their importance, require regular check-ups. You'll be checking previous service reports, equipment manuals, verifying that parts are available, and ensuring other requirements are met.
This role will require flexibility, to travel and work away and offshore at times, typically across Liverpool yet also covering the north of England. You will receive fantastic overtime additions, working away allowances, a company van, a company mobile phone, and a company credit card for business expenses.
As this is a role where the majority of your earnings come from the additions due to working offshore/away, your potential earnings can be up to £70,000, based on a salary that ranges from £28,000 to £31,000 depending upon your experience.
Sounds great, what do I need?
* HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
* Broad technical background in the area of mechanics, hydraulics and ideally some electrical/PLC knowledge.
* At least several years' relevant maintenance experience.
* Ability to read and understand technical diagrams.
* Experience in the maritime/offshore industry is preferred.
