NB THIS ROLE IS BASED ON SITE IN SCOTLAND - NOT A REMOTE WORKING ROLE Harvey Nash Executive Search are delighted to be working with a key brand in the Scottish market to appoint their new Head of Infrastructure. This is a key Technology leadership role, responsible for all areas of IT Infrastructure - managing a best in class 24/7/ 365 Tech operation in a fast paced environment. The right candidate will have come from a technical background, progressing into leadership where they have spent several years running teams in excess of 50 people, across multiple locations. You will have outstanding stakeholder engagement skills up to C level within an organisation, as well as a proven track record in the management of critical 3rd party supplier delivery. You will manage a team of direct reports across areas such as Windows, Networks, Cloud and data-centre tech, whilst playing a key part of the Technology leadership team. Our client is in a fast paced, private sector environment supporting a multi thousand user base - hence we need someone from a similarly complex, commercially aligned background. In order to be considered for this role you must meet all the below criteria: * Several years experience in a Technology Leadership role, specifically covering Infrastructure operations * Extensive Technology Leadership experience running Infrastructure teams across multiple technology verticals (* Experience of managing teams in excess of 50 FTE and budgets in excess of £10 to £15 million * A background in private sector, complex IT environments such as Energy, Utilities, Consultancy, Financial Services and/ or retail * Solid experience of risk/ technology controls * Demonstrable skills in managing teams globally * Proven track record working to the most senior level within an organisation * The ability to work in Edinburgh a few days per week.
