Quantitative Analyst (AI Focus) - Manchester
A Quantitative Analyst with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, Statistical modelling & Time Series analysis is required to join a dynamic team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a data-driven professional with expertise in quantitative methods, machine learning, and AI-driven analytics to play a pivotal role in the organisation.
Experience:
1. 3+ years of commercial experience in a Statistical Analysis / Forecasting type role
2. A degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
3. Strong programming skills in Python, R, or MATLAB, with experience in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn.
4. Solid understanding of probability theory, statistical modelling, and time-series analysis.
5. Experience working with large datasets, SQL, and cloud computing platforms is advantageous.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Role:
1. Develop and implement AI-driven quantitative models for financial analysis, risk assessment, and decision-making.
2. Utilize advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
3. Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and financial analysts to optimise model performance.
4. Research and apply the latest advancements in AI and machine learning to enhance quantitative strategies.
5. Present findings and insights to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
