Our client is looking for an Associate, Senior/ Associate/ Director level to provide property services including temporary access, acquisition, CPO, compensation, and valuation advice to Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects including Rail, Road, Energy, and Transport.
To assist in leading, developing, and delivering expert strategic and tactical advice to clients in the infrastructure sector.

They provide advice across all forms of energy including:
Anaerobic Digestion, Battery Energy Storage/BESS, Biomass, CHP, Flexible gas peaking, EV Charging, Energy from Waste, Hydro, Onshore Oil & Gas, Solar, Wind.
Responsibilities:
1. Assisted in the delivery of major infrastructure projects for bodies and corporate investors.
2. Delivery of valuation reports in accordance with client instructions and RICS Valuation Standards.
3. Develop and undertake new business/relationship opportunities and drive forward initiatives in the local area.
4. Source sites for Infrastructure developments.
5. Undertake option and lease negotiations, valuations, and general professional negotiations.
6. Feasibility and development appraisals.
7. Site brokerage and at all times ensuring that high quality standards of service level and professional behaviour are adhered to.
8. Negotiation of disturbance claims following works.
9. Consents for access across third party land for works.
10. Assist in the management and guidance of all activities undertaken in the area.
11. Provide specialist advice in respect of statutory and sectorial process changes.
12. The negotiation and management of lease events and asset acquisition and disposals.
13. Identification and optimisation of opportunities and the mitigation of risks and liabilities.
14. Implementing new policies and procedures to increase productivity and efficiency.
15. Leading on opportunities through to acquisition, including detailed due diligence, the negotiation of transfer agreements, and project management of capital works where necessary.
16. Effective team working in light and heavy matrix scenarios moving between the client and offices and teams.
17. Implement policy as required and ensure legal compliance with all work carried out.
18. Management of surveyors working across the team.
19. Mentoring and coaching junior members of the team through their professional development.

You:
Ideally, you will be RICS Qualified and OR RICS Registered Valuer with extensive PQE experience in a general practice/infrastructure surveying role with a business development-oriented attitude focused on delivering excellent customer service.
Compulsory Purchase experience desirable although this is not essential as we have excellent training available through our Infrastructures Academy.
Rural surveying experience could be beneficial as aspects of our work cover rural portfolios, including commercial and residential assets. You must also be able to demonstrate you have a good working knowledge of relevant legislation and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
