The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Agile development processes across teams within Foods Connected, ensuring efficient execution of our product roadmap. This role will enable cross-functional collaboration, drive Agile best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The Scrum Master will work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Customer Success teams to optimise workflows and deliver high-quality products that align with business objectives. This role is ideal for an experienced Agile practitioner who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving product development excellence. The Scrum Master will play a pivotal role in enabling Foods Connected to scale efficiently while delivering high-quality software solutions that meet customer and business needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: Agile Facilitation and Process Management: Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Guide teams in Agile principles, ensuring adherence to Scrum framework and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Identify and remove impediments to team progress, enabling teams to meet sprint goals efficiently. Track and analyse team performance metrics, using data to drive improvements in delivery efficiency and predictability. Support the Product team in backlog refinement and prioritization, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals. Coach teams on Agile best practices and foster a self-organising team culture. Cross-Team Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a leader, facilitating collaboration between Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding of goals. Foster an environment of transparency, trust, and open communication within and across teams. Work closely with Product Owners to refine user stories, manage dependencies, and align deliverables with business objectives. Champion Agile adoption across the organization, influencing leadership and teams to embrace Agile methodologies. Communicate team progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders effectively. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a, Business related field.⯠Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification. Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role within a software development environment. Experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or enterprise software development. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban. Experience in scaling Agile practices within an organisation (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus frameworks). As SAFe is utilised within Foods Connected experience will be preferred and an advantage. Knowledge of Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps. Experience in coaching and mentoring Agile teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Technical Skills To perform this job successfully, the Scrum Master should have experience with: Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Trello for backlog management and sprint tracking. Metrics and reporting tools to measure team velocity, cycle time, and other Agile KPIs. Coaching techniques to guide teams in Agile maturity and self-organisation. Software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and best practices.
