Teaching Personnel are looking for passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our partnership SEMH/PRU provisions across the South Manchester area. The school caters for children and young people who have been excluded from mainstream settings and need a specialist provision to achieve their learning goals. In this role as a Teaching Assistant, you will: Support the class teacher in creative and engaging lessons. Act as a good role model for students and encourage expected behaviour. Promote independence of pupils and encourage them to reach their full potential. Support in the assessment of pupils learning and development. The ideal Teaching Assistant will have: Experience working in a Pupil referral unit or with children with SEMH needs (Desirable) Adaptability and flexibility within their role to different situations or needs.
