An ‘Good’ secondary school in Ashington is looking for a MFL Teacher to join their supportive and forward-thinking team and teach French. The head teacher would like to hear from candidates that are driven and have a proven track record of securing successful outcomes and attainment in French. Candidates that have a real passion for their subject and effective behaviour management are a must!
The main duties will include:
1. Planning, teaching, and assessing the MFL curriculum.
2. Selecting and requisitioning appropriate books, instructional aids, and school supplies as needed.
3. Following the school behaviour management policy effectively.
4. Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care.
The ideal candidate will:
1. Hold Qualified Teaching Status.
2. Have a degree in the subject area.
3. Be passionate about their subject area.
4. ECTs are welcome.
5. Be proactive, energetic, kind, and caring.
6. Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to go through the process with us).
7. Have a full checkable work history.
