We are looking for a Payroll Services Senior Manager / Director to join our team. We are flexible on location across our Scottish and Newcastle offices. We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as the Senior Manager / Director within Payroll Services. This pivotal role involves leadership across multiple locations, driving policy and procedure development, fostering business growth, managing pricing strategies, and ensuring robust governance aligned with firm-wide objectives. The Payroll Services Senior Manager / Director will be responsible for (but not limited to): People Management: Lead and inspire a diverse team across four locations, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement Policy and Procedure Development: Develop and implement comprehensive payroll policies and procedures that adhere to regulatory standards and enhance operational efficiency Business Development: Drive initiatives to expand market share and enhance service offerings, collaborating closely with senior management and stakeholders Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies to optimise revenue generation while maintaining client satisfaction Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, implementing governance frameworks that safeguard operational integrity Collaboration and Communication: Partner effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders to align service delivery with firm goals Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Champion innovation in payroll services, identifying opportunities for process enhancement and technological advancement About You: A leader of your work and your professional learning Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others Proven experience in payroll/people services management, ideally within a complex, multi-site environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams to achieve high performance In-depth knowledge of business policies, procedures, and compliance requirements in the UK Qualification in payroll management, accountancy or human resources (e.g., CIPP, CIPD/CIMA qualification) is desirable Why JC?
