Nursery Practitioner
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum + excellent benefits
Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and committed Nursery Practitioner to provide a safe, enjoyable, and engaging place to learn for children between 3 months and 5 years old. This can be either a full-time or part-time permanent position with a trusted nursery that offers a fantastic career opportunity along with excellent benefits.
The Organisation
We've partnered with a highly regarded and successful nursery based in Hertfordshire that provides early years education to boys and girls. The nursery has outstanding feedback from parents in addition to a very good rating from their most recent quality inspection and aims to continue safeguarding young children and supporting the local community.
Job Responsibilities
1. Provide a welcoming classroom environment in which the children are safe and have fun.
2. Plan activities in line with EYFS.
3. Ensure the effective use of the school's resources and proper maintenance of school materials.
4. Engage with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
5. Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children and young people.
Requirements
1. Hold a relevant childcare or teaching qualification - level 2 minimum.
2. Be passionate about delivering the best level of care.
3. Previous experience in a nursery is highly advantageous.
4. Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
5. Have a strong understanding of the EYFS and refer to the EYFS Framework to plan activities.
