We're recruiting an Internal Sales Manager for a household name in the Fasteners industry; selling into the Aerospace, Automotive, and Construction industries.Location:BuckinghamshirePackage:Competitive SalaryCompany Profit-Share BonusPurposeTo manage the Internal Sales team in their support of the Key Account Managers, External Sales Team and Sales Director, and to co-ordinate and ensure the smooth running of sales administration and internal quotation processes.Key ResponsibilitiesInternal Sales Team Management:Support the internal sales teams with the daily processing of customer forecasts, orders, quotes, and ensuring that they are administered in a timely mannerDay to day management and support of sales authorisations on Winman and DocuwareEnsure all sales processes are followed to the written procedures of the businessEnsure customer order books for long lead time parts are proactively managed to head off any stock outsContinually manage the training and development of the teams to encompass an improvement in business acumen, commercial thinking and customer relationship buildingEffectively manage, mentor and communicate to your team to ensure they remain motivated and able to carry out their jobs effectivelyManagement Support:Support the Sales Director with data and activity requestsSupport the Sales Director in ensuring stock liability is covered by customer commitments and excess stocks are kept to acceptable levelsEnsure daily, weekly monthly tasks completed by team on timeWork with Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure the sales to purchase cycle runs smoothly and that products are correctly managed according to their status/categoryHandling and documenting customer issues, complaints and co-ordinating the Continual Improvement LogProduce a weekly summary report to be communicated to the wider groupSupport the monthly reporting to the Group Management meetingBe fully conversant in providing data and analysis from Power BIBusiness Development Support:Co-ordinate larger sales projects and sales funnel based RFQs and ensure the sales funnel is kept up to date and relevantCo-ordinate and monitor the quotation and quotation feedback processCo-ordinate and monitor CRM activityGeneral:Liaise with Operations to co-ordinate the progress and picking of sales orders in the warehouse and to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and fulfilledEnsuring high standards of presentation of all areas of the sales officeSkills and Experience:Proven experience managing a team with excellent people and conflict management skillsAbility to communicate and build relationships, with strong Customer focusExcellent interpersonal, communication and decision-making skillsExcellent time management and organisational skillsAdvanced knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPointBackground within the Fastener industry would be advantageous, but not essential
