Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner within the Immigration & Justice sector to partner with the Business Directors and implement business-specific people strategies including:
1. Compensation and benefits
2. Recruitment
3. Engagement
4. Development in line with the Centres of Excellence
You should be capable of designing professional and commercial people solutions. In the event of escalated cases, you will provide counsel to the business regarding the best approach. You will also work with the wider HR community to ensure people policies, initiatives, and procedures are fit for purpose and meet the medium/long-term needs of the business.
You will partner with key stakeholders to gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of:
1. Financial and commercial aspects of contracts
2. Contract performance against targets
This knowledge will inform the People Plan priorities. Additionally, you will actively monitor data on:
1. Labour costs
2. Employment relations
3. Sickness absence
By identifying trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities, you will agree on relevant action plans with Business Directors.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A CIPD qualification
2. Experience of managing and driving HR initiatives in a fast-paced, complex Immigration & Justice environment
3. Broad experience in all aspects of HR Business Partnering including:
1. Reward
2. Employee relations
3. Talent
4. Succession planning
5. Restructuring
6. Leadership
4. Experience in the use of a range of techniques to support:
1. Training and development activities
2. Selection
3. Compensation and benefits (e.g.: TNA, psychometrics, salary surveys)
5. A clean driving licence
