Internal Sales Representative Hybrid - Milton Keynes or St Neots Salary 35k plus significant bonus / commission My client is a leading global provider of sensors, software, and autonomous solutions, empowering industries to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality. Specialising in advanced geospatial technologies, they offer a range of innovative products, including GNSS, 3D laser scanners, mobile mapping, UAVs, and total station solutions tailored for heavy construction, building, and land surveying sectors. This role will be based from either the Milton Keynes or St Neots office, with occasional travel within the UK. About the Role As an Internal Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in supporting the sales function, acting as a bridge between internal and external sales teams. You will be the primary point of contact for key customer and prospect enquiries, ensuring that all opportunities are tracked, managed, and maximised. Working within a collaborative team, you will promote a range of Leica Geosystems products while providing consistent support across account management, service, and product functions. Additionally, this role requires maintaining accurate data within the Salesforce CRM, assisting with lead generation from marketing campaigns, and providing account onboarding support. You will also have the opportunity to develop and nurture several target accounts, ensuring strong customer relationships and sustained growth. Key Responsibilities Respond to and track general enquiries from customers, prospects, and sales personnel Research and target prospects using internal data and external resources Assist customers with product recommendations and equipment selection Collaborate with sales and technical support teams as needed Generate and follow up on proposals, quotations, and outstanding opportunities Support the sales team with complex quotations, tenders, and related tasks Manage and onboard assigned customer accounts, focusing on opportunity development Champion the Salesforce CRM system, ensuring data flow and lead management Develop positive customer relationships and foster a customer-centric culture Provide input on and adhere to sales processes to meet evolving business needs Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have a proven background in technical sales or business development, ideally within a sector related to survey or scientific equipment. You will be self-motivated, task-oriented, and driven to achieve targets and KPIs. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage significant customer opportunities. Knowledge of Office365 is required, and experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, would be an advantage.
