Job Description
Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. The role is based at a well-equipped clinic featuring advanced facilities, including digital and dental radiography, multiparameter anaesthetic monitors, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, ultrasound, tonometry, and an in-house laboratory with piped oxygen. The practice has earned ISFM Cat-Friendly Clinic accreditation and offers separate cat and dog waiting areas, wards, and an isolation facility.

Responsibilities
1. Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients during consultations and procedures.
2. Provide clients with clear updates on their pets’ conditions and care plans.
3. Ensure professional excellence by adhering to the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
4. Prepare accurate treatment and care plans, including clear cost estimates.
5. Mentor and develop the team, enhancing their skills and optimising their performance.
6. Complete clinical handovers and coordinate patient transfers for out-of-hours or specialised care.
7. Proactively support and share clinical best practices within the clinic and across the wider veterinary community.
Requirements
1. RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon.
2. Experience in delivering outstanding care to patients and clients.
3. Proven ability to work effectively within a team.
4. Strong clinical leadership skills.
5. Experience in fostering a progressive clinical culture.
6. Knowledge of supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures.
7. Coaching and influencing skills to maximise team performance.
