Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Barnsley
Salary: c£35,000 (Negotiable for the right person)

Requirements to Fulfil the Role:
1. Ability to read engineering drawings/specifications
2. Knowledge of ISO9001:2000 and trained in internal auditing
3. Maintaining quality manuals and associated documents
4. Responsibility for the generation, monitoring and reporting of KPIs
5. Resolve product related problems and supplier quality issues
6. Non-conformance/8D reporting
7. Day-to-day management of all Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and associated documentation
8. Good communication and reporting skills between shop floor and senior management
9. Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IMDS, REACH, ROHS, ISO18001, ISO 14001 and Aerospace AS 9120 would be desirable but not essential
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Developing and implementing quality control tests
2. Inspecting products at various stages
3. Writing reports documenting production issues
4. Develop and implement quality control processes, procedures, and policies to ensure that products or services meet or exceed customer expectations
5. Monitor and analyse data related to quality control processes, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvement
6. Communicate with other teams, departments, and stakeholders to ensure that quality control processes are aligned with business objectives
7. Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure that raw materials and components meet established quality standards
8. Manage and maintain quality control documentation, ensuring that all necessary records and reports are accurate and up-to-date
