Job Title: Plant Coordinator

Role Purpose The Plant Coordinator will play a key role in the smooth coordination and delivery of plant and equipment across various projects. This role requires an individual who can manage day-to-day plant requests, ensure timely delivery and off-hire processes, and maintain accurate plant records while liaising with both internal teams and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate plant and equipment requests in line with project requirements and site programmes
Act as the key point of contact between site teams, the internal commercial and planning departments, and external suppliers
Monitor and manage plant movements, ensuring optimal utilisation and cost-efficiency
Maintain accurate and up-to-date hire logs, delivery/collection records, and reporting systems
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards related to plant operations
Assist in managing disputes or discrepancies relating to plant hire charges and equipment usage
Support commercial teams with cost tracking and plant-related invoicing queriesAbout You Essential

Excellent negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills
IT literate with proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Experience in plant control, hire desk operations, or working within a plant hire environmentDesirable
