The post holder will work at Cygnet Derby and will be clinically supervised by the Head OT.

Cygnet Derby (East Midlands):
Cygnet Hospital Derby provides low secure and mental health rehabilitation care based on the Recovery Model. Our integrated male care pathway includes Litchurch Ward, our low secure ward, and the Wyvern Unit, our mental health rehabilitation service. Alvaston Ward, our specialist female personality disorder service, is one of the leading services of its kind in the East and West Midlands.
We ensure person-centred outcomes are maximised through inter-disciplinary working, whilst keeping the individual at the heart of their discharge planning.
This service will be able to accept individuals using a variety of legal frameworks, including those under the Mental Health Act.
Occupational Therapy Directorate
Under the leadership of our occupational therapy directors, we support over 185 Occupational Therapists. Working together as a large team, we provide support to each other across the group, with the opportunity to be part of specialist interest groups & become involved in service development.
