Welcome patients and visitors to the ward, answering appropriate questions and providing any relevant information in a sensitive manner, referring to qualified members of the team as necessary. Undertake clerical and administrative duties on behalf of the ward. Answer the telephone and deal with enquiries in a courteous manner. To open and sort incoming mail and distribute to relevant personnel for action. To use computer for inputting and accessing general patient information on Trust computer systems such as Ecamis, EPR, Agyle, Electronic Diary and Health of the Ward. To assist with other duties that may reasonably be required.
