Job Description
The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant working across both Key Stages to support children 1:1.
Responsibilities
* Support the needs of SEN pupils;
* Work closely with staff, parents, and outside agencies;
* Cater for the individual needs of the children and use initiative based on situations as they arise;
* Follow individual Care Plans as directed;
* Establish good relationships and teamwork with the wider school community;
* Provide excellent support for the class teacher and all pupils;
* Listen to and respond to advice from other professionals outside the setting and be accountable for maintaining records and observations;
* Provide detailed feedback to the SENDCO, class teacher, and parents;
* Create supportive and trusting relationships with parents with an honest and open approach;
Qualifications
Applicants will need to demonstrate a proven understanding of working with children who need particular support in different aspects of SEN needs. Experience working in KS2 is essential, and you must have experience working with SEN needs.
