Finance Manager – Group Financial Accounting

We’re looking for a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our Group Financial Reporting team at easyJet. Reporting to the Group Chief Accountant, this key role ensures the coordination and execution of our monthly close process, consolidation of Group management accounts, and delivery of internal financial reporting, including reports for the CFO, Airline Management Board, and plc Board. Working closely with Investor Relations, you’ll also support easyJet’s external reporting requirements, engage with company auditor and act as the business owner for our Finance GL ERP system.
In addition to managing the monthly financial cycle, this role drives continuous improvement across our financial systems and controls, working collaboratively with finance subject matter experts to enhance processes and maintain financial integrity. With one direct report, this is a senior position that offers significant autonomy and responsibility, making it ideal for a self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a passion for financial excellence. What you need to do the role
We are looking for a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 3+ years of post-qualification experience to join our team at easyJet. You’ll bring expertise in general ledger accounting, coordinating close processes, and ensuring the accuracy of financial accounts. A sharp eye for detail and the ability to build relationships across functions will be key, enabling you to challenge inputs and hold stakeholders accountable for the integrity of their submissions.
With strong Excel skills and experience in GL management, you'll confidently communicate complex financial matters to both finance and non-finance teams. A self-starter with a proactive approach, you'll thrive on solving problems and driving continuous improvement. LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend three days per week in the office.
