Job summary Ensures the day unit runs effectively on a day to day basis by providing a comprehensive administrative service to (under direct supervision of the senior Sister/Charge Nurse) the following areas: Support services, ward environment, information technology and communication. Provides a point of contact for all ward enquiries managing, politely and appropriately, verbal and written enquiries from patients, carers, family and health care professionals ensuring appointment and timely action. Answers telephone, takes messages and provide information as directed. Stock and non-stock ordering and receiving to the ward.
