We have a fantastic new opportunity to join us as Digital Campaign Manager at Holland & Barrett to lead the strategic planning, execution, and optimisation of all digital campaigns across the company's website and mobile app. This role governs the promotional strategy and ensures alignment with broader trade planning objectives to maximize revenue and enhance customer satisfaction.
As a team leader, the Digital Campaign Manager is responsible for fostering a high-performance culture, driving collaboration, and mentoring team members to deliver outstanding results.
The Role
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Governance
* Develop and oversee the online promotional strategy, ensuring alignment with the Trade Planning Team's objectives and broader business goals.
* Build and maintain a site calendar of trading events to meet market demands and maximize sales opportunities.
* Evaluate digital competition, sharing insights with relevant teams to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
* Own and optimise key digital landing pages such as the homepage and product listing pages (PLPs) to enhance the user experience, reduce bounce rates, and maximise conversions.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization
* Use analytics tools to evaluate category performance, including metrics such as sales, availability, conversion rates, and average order value.
* Collaborate with the Digital Trading team to develop action plans that improve website conversion and overall performance.
* Monitor campaign KPIs and adjust strategies to ensure optimal performance and achievement of business objectives.
* Continuously document activity and performance to feed into monthly business Performance Implementation Reviews (PIRs).
Team Leadership and Collaboration
* Lead and develop a team of four, fostering a high-performance culture focused on delivering impactful results.
* Set clear objectives for the team, provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities, and conduct regular performance reviews.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Trade Planning, Commercial, Marketing, and Creative teams, to align efforts and ensure seamless campaign delivery.
Revenue and Income Generation
* Identify and execute new income generation opportunities through partnerships, promotional activities, and social media integrations.
* Push the Commercial team to secure the best deals and ensure adequate stock levels for all planned activities.
Creative and Content Management
* Collaborate with the creative studio to develop and execute campaign briefs for digital assets, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
* Ensure compliance with terms and conditions (T&Cs) and maintain consistency in digital marketing content across platforms.
Location:
This role is based in Nuneaton, and may be occasionally required to travel to our London Hub or to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office.
The Person
Key Requirements:
* Digital Campaign Management - In-depth understanding of digital campaign planning, execution, and performance optimization across web and mobile platforms.
* E-commerce and Retail Knowledge - Strong knowledge of e-commerce principles, including promotional strategies, customer journey mapping, and trading cycles in a retail context.
* Analytics and Reporting Tools - Proficiency in using digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Content Square) to measure performance metrics such as conversion rates, sales uplift, and ROI.
* Content and Platform Management - Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and merchandising tools for website and app content updates, including banners, widgets, and homepage management.
* Market Trends and Competitor Analysis - Expertise in monitoring market trends and competitive activities, translating insights into actionable strategies to maintain market leadership.
* Digital Campaign Execution - Proven success in planning and delivering digital campaigns within an e-commerce or retail environment, including KPI setting and performance monitoring.
* Team Leadership - Demonstrated experience managing and developing a team, fostering growth and ensuring accountability.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration - Experience working with diverse teams, including Marketing, Creative, and Commercial departments, to ensure seamless campaign execution.
* Revenue Growth and Innovation - Track record of identifying and implementing revenue-driving opportunities, such as flash sales, partnerships, or new promotional tactics.
* Performance Optimization - Hands-on experience using analytics tools to evaluate campaign effectiveness and implement data-driven improvements.
