What you will be doing as a Maintenance Engineer:
* General maintenance and breakdown support.
* Carry out fault finding activities and undertake timely repair of equipment in the following areas; Robotics, PLC’s, Electrical Control Systems, Hydraulics and Pneumatics and mechanical systems.
* Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities.
* Extensive liaison with supervisors/managers on shift.
* Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and observe safety rules at all times.
* Timely response to equipment stoppages.
What you’ll need to succeed as a Field Service Engineer:
* Previous experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer is ESSENTIAL.
* An ELECTRICAL bias is ESSENTIAL.
* Experience with pneumatic & hydraulic systems is essential.
* A recognised engineering qualification is essential.
* You will be required to do a 3 shift rotation.
* You will be happy working in a large facility and be able to prioritise your workload.
* Experience with PLC’s and HMI’s is beneficial.
