Salary: from £56,000 depending on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: Managing and reporting on strategic workforce planning using IT systems and tools that support data and intelligence, to ensure critical roles and succession opportunities are managed to futureproof the function resource Management Responsible for management of central processes and strategies to manage the resourcing of a diverse and multi-skilled workforce for our programmes and stakeholders Interpreting, Communicating and Creating comprehensive reports to support Resourcing & Workforce Planning Management Supporting staff utilisation, open roles, available resources, upcoming recruitment pipelines and future skills Chair and co-ordinate a weekly cross-company resource allocation and demand business meeting Identify opportunities for personal development and responsibilities as a people manager Develop a strategy to introduce automated systems to manage all aspects of workforce competency Your skills and experiences: Essential: Experience of being a first line lead with extensive knowledge of Resourcing and Workforce Planning gained through experience Experience in developing and delivering strategy within teams and functions Excellent people management capabilities Experience in areas including cost management, IBPs, business planning and strategic workforce planning Desirable: Appreciation of systems, technology and data management Substantial amount of practical knowledge gained through experience in a directly related field (e.g. Resourcing, Recruitment, Business Management, Project Management) Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.
