Your role
Corpay is currently looking to hire an Operational Excellence Executive within our UK Business Transformation division. This position falls under our Fleetcor line of business based in Swindon, Walsall or Sheffield, UK.
This is a full-time, permanent role working on a hybrid basis (3 days onsite and 2 days from home). Additionally, this role requires travel to other sites around the UK.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving positive change for the business, ensuring processes are reviewed and optimised across multiple business functions. You will also play a key part in evolving how our Knowledge Management system (Zingtree) is utilised and enhanced to ensure seamless outcomes for customers and the business alike. You will also be involved in supporting the delivery of key business projects to support a digitally evolving workplace, including process sign off, service acceptance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
1. Proactive management of Zingtree Knowledge Repository
2. Act as primary owner of Zingtree within the business, ensuring optimal utilisation to support process efficiency and automation whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory audit requirements.
3. Working with Zingtree to introduce new features, and optimisation of current tools.
4. Develop, maintain and optimise decision tree workflows to enhance customer and employee experience.
5. Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and design Zingtree solutions to deliver a ‘best in class customer and employee experience via enhanced journeys and reduced touch points.
6. Provide support towards the roll out of new products or key business changes.
7. Monitor Zingtree performance, troubleshoot issues and implement updates in alignment with business needs.
8. Create meaningful analytics to track roll out progression, process efficiency, training enhancements as well as customer and employee usage.
9. Providing training and best practice guidance on Zingtree usage to stakeholders and authors.
10. Demonstrate good housekeeping of processes/usage of the tool ensuring it fully supports the departments fluidity/responsiveness.
Business Transformation Activities
1. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvement and optimisation opportunities, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
2. Support the implementation and delivery of new business processes and projects with organizational context and priorities in mind.
3. Work closely with operational leaders across the business to identify opportunities for process enhancements and continuous improvements.
4. Provide support with development and implementation of operational excellence and quality improvement programs.
5. Manage stakeholders to ensure requirements are both mapped and delivered upon.
Service Readiness and Implementation Support
1. Work alongside Operational leads to provide support in ensuring all areas of Service readiness are reviewed and considered, allowing for a seamless handover of new products and initiatives.
2. Ensuring process documentation, resource requirements, training and product collateral are provided to allow for successful implementation.
3. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and mitigate any risks associated with new initiatives.
4. Provide guidance to the business on any risks associated with any new initiatives.
To be successful in this role
1. Experience working in similar transformation roles, process improvement and workflow.
2. Proficiency in process flow and project management tools (preferably Zingtree).
3. If not already qualified, ambition to work towards obtaining change management/process improvement qualification such as Lean Six Sigma.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
5. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with the ability to influence and drive initiatives.
6. Problem solving ability to think critically to overcome challenges.
7. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
8. Proactive in sharing suggestions to support the optimisation of usage and process touch points – putting the customer at the heart of what we do.
9. Agile enough to understand business needs, prioritize incoming requests accordingly and change direction quickly.
