Description
As a Global Category Manager you will,
Lead the development and execution of the global procurement strategy for aftermarket parts
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on requirements.
Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure optimal terms.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes.
Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements.Profile
A successful Global Category Manager should have:
Proven experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing sector, ideally aerospace
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
A deep understanding of global procurement processes and strategy.
Track record of leading high performing teams
The ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
