My client specializes in the defense industry, producing and maintaining various types of weapons and materials. They are also involved in creating composite materials such as carbon fibre tubes and aero-structures.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Support Aerospace Propulsion programs.
2. Conduct assembly and component analysis (structural, ballistic, thermal) to support design.
3. Support bid and proposal preparation including scope of work, technical volume, schedules, and budgets.
4. Assist in creating detailed IRAD plans and support continuous improvement projects.
5. Participate in Change Review Board meetings by preparing and presenting TDP process changes.
6. Participate in Phase Gate Review meetings for development programs.
Required Experience & Skills
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
2. 5-12 years of engineering experience; aerospace or defense industry experience preferred.
3. Knowledge of closed-form and finite element analysis.
4. Proficiency in solid modelling and detailed drawing creation.
5. Candidates will be considered for Security Clearance (SC) upon job acceptance.
