Hours: Monday – Friday, 2 hours per day
Term time only, 10 hours per week
Salary: Grade 1 SCP 002 – 004 (£5,358.15 - £5,527.58)
Moorcroft Wood School is a one form entry primary school situated next to Moorcroft Wood, with extensive school grounds. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lunchtime Supervisor to join our school.
The successful candidate will:
* Actively engage with children during lunchtime.
* Be responsible to Senior Leaders for the conduct and safety of pupils during lunchtime.
* Oversee a team of lunchtime supervisors.
* Maintain a calm and fair demeanor while upholding the school’s policies.
* Relate well with children of all ages.
* Serve as a role model by treating children with respect and acting fairly but assertively in implementing the school’s policies.
* Understand safeguarding and report any concerns appropriately.
* Have previous experience as a lunchtime supervisor or working with children regularly (desired).
* Assist children in the dining hall to choose and eat a healthy lunch, promoting good manners and social skills while ensuring a clean and safe environment.
* Work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances.
At Moorcroft Wood Primary School, we are committed to safeguarding our children. The school will conduct online search checks for all shortlisted applicants in line with keeping children safe in education guidance. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS and other pre-employment checks.
