At Adventure Yogi, we specialise in offering yoga holidays and retreats in the UK and abroad. Established in 2006, we are pioneers in the retreat/yoga holiday/wellness travel industry. We specialise in combining yoga, adventure, activities and culture, and we bring the fun into yoga retreats, whilst creating healthy experiences with like-minded people for solo travellers or friends/family members. We want our guests to feel energised by yoga, relaxed by massage and invigorated by delicious plant-based/veggie foods. We are working on our sustainability practices by becoming a climate-positive workforce with Ecologi. We are currently working with a consultant to measure our carbon and work towards reducing it as we are aware we have a big impact on the planet that we are passionate about minimising without compromising on quality retreats for people to switch off and recover from their busy lives. In 2025 and beyond, we will be working to grow to 130+ retreats a year, develop our office team and retreat teams and work towards B-Corp, to reach more people to help create healthy habits and life-changing experiences.
What is the role?
This role supports the Managing Director in understanding the data from all of our marketing activities to create a streamlined and highly converting marketing strategy across all channels to maximise sales and share our brand messaging and story engagingly and creatively. You will manage the marketing agencies to create our marketing strategy across socials, Meta and Google ads, the mailing list and any other touch points we develop, whilst collecting the data and constantly improving this activity. Website management will include copywriting to reflect our tone of voice and brand messaging. Managing the ads agency will consist of managing ad content creation, such as meta and Google ads and ad copy. Monthly reporting and data analysis to support last-minute sales or retreats that aren’t selling well and develop strategies to prevent risk and increase sales as early as possible to sell out retreats. It is your role to support the social media manager and help generate content ideas and the overall content strategy to showcase the retreat experience with us and various creative and inspiring ways to get our brand messaging across to the right audiences. The role will also be managing email marketing and growing the mailing list. Administrative tasks include communicating with the retreat teams about creating and sharing content from their retreat, training them and their collaborative promotional activities. You will also manage influencer PR, brand collaborations, and product launches and work at events we run or attend to promote the AY offerings to a broader audience.

Responsibilities and primary duties of the post:
* Manage all agencies: the social media manager and work with them to create a social media content strategy and learn from reports what works and doesn't in order to maximise AY’s presence and sales on socials.
* Manage the Google ad and Meta agency. Work with them to analyse the data, adjust and make changes to the ad copy and content based on data to improve CAC, CTR, ROAS and conversion rates, and manage the ad strategy.
* Manage the website agency and SEO agency to support the website with copywriting.
* Be able to create video content from our existing library or take new content (video and photography) on location. Have some experience in this.
* Create overall content and marketing strategy across all channels.
* Video production and editing using Capcut or similar.
* Understand and support brand values and messaging and weave them through our marketing.
* Learn and understand and combine our sustainability goals into the brand strategy, messaging, and values.
* Work with digital analytics tools such as GA4, Meta and Instagram business suite to measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, including sales, promotions, emails, and visitor traffic.
* Create weekly newsletters, build on our segmentation and automation, and create strategies to grow our mailing list.
* Manage influencer PR, press trips, and coverage.
* Manage photographers and videographers going on retreats to capture content.
* Work with our retreat teams to support them with on-brand promotional material for their retreats, provide discount codes, engage with them for content collaborations, and create launch strategies for new retreat products with them.
* Attend retreats to enable you to understand our audience to produce the type of content they want to engage with. Engage in market research.
Skills required
* A creative that has an eye for good design, especially yoga, wellness, and wellness travel and what works on socials/ads/mailing lists, all touch points.
* Has excellent literacy and grammar ability for copywriting.
* A data-driven person who loves data and analysing it - have your eye on sales and profitability.
* A team player who works collaboratively in a friendly and professional manner.
* Independent thinking and assertiveness.
* Excellent interpersonal skills; enjoys communicating with others.
* Ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
* This is a PART-TIME Role, but it could become full-time.
* Suitable for: Self-employed freelancer or employed, self-employed monthly rolling contract and employed 3 month contract to start with and if we work well together a normal contract.
* SALARY: £40,000 pro rata part-time role 21 hours per week £22,400. Can be self-employed or employed.
