Required to start in November, we seek to recruit a full-time Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate day to day ‘caretaker’ functions at Crackley Hall School, such as reactive maintenance, PPM’s, compliance checks, porterage, cleaning and security. This exciting and wide-ranging role is remotely managed by the Head of Estates and Sustainability, but the Site Supervisor is the key person ‘on the ground’, ensuring that their site is fully functional, organised, clean, tidy, secure and well maintained. Responsibilities Supervise Estates staff based at the site to ensure that the staff and pupils receive an excellent service Ensure that the site is appropriately opened, secured and staffed. Includes preparing rota’s and arranging planned/emergency cover as required Coordinate proactive and reactive tasks, assigning staff or arranging contractors as appropriate Ensure the site is clean, litter-free and tidy Coordinate set up and pack down for events e.g. sports fixtures, assemblies, open days, fairs etc Plan and complete a range of maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, grass cutting etc Manage general maintenance, compliance checks and planned preventative maintenance to ensure the site and its resources are well presented, safe and functioning at all times Support Estates managers with the planning, preparation and completion of specific projects Support and supervise contractors, completing permits to work and site inductions as required Coordinate car parking and specific duties as required Ensure that the areas used for co-curricular activities such as sports pitches, hall, dining room, changing rooms etc are cleaned and ready for use Assist groups who are hiring facilities Check quality of contract cleaning and external contractors and report back to relevant managers to ensure high standards are maintained Plus a few other duties - please see our website for full details Salary: £26,589 to £27,612 per annum full-time equivalent.
