About the Role:
The Best Connection, is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join their clients team as Yard Operative in a busy metal fabrication yard. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in pipe fitting and welding assembly, with full training provided.
Key Details:
* Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
* Optional Friday 06:00 till 16:00
* Optional Saturdays: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (paid for 10 hours).
Responsibilities :
* Assisting with the setup and clean up of yard materials.
* Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
* Operating hand and power tools as instructed.
* Following safety protocols to maintain a clean and secure work environment.
* Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.
Requirements :
* Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not essential.
* Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
* Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
* A strong work ethic and the ability to work well as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected Weekly Hours: 44 to 50
