Chef Manager - Bedford
Up to £32,000 per annum (DOE)
Monday - Friday role
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chef Manager based in Bedford.
You will be providing outstanding service to the staff and customers whilst guiding and motivating your team to be the best they can possibly be. As the Chef Manager, you need to be commercially aware, with the presence and personality to influence the day-to-day business, you'll maximise the performance of your team, leading by example and setting high standards,
You will enhance sales and provide our customers with great service. You will need to build an excellent relationship with the client making sure their needs as well as contractual needs are met to the highest.
1. Services: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Vending and Self Service Till
2. Leading the onsite catering team of 4 with up to 500 customers on site.
3. Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
4. Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the modern kitchen and front of house environment
5. Ensuring the correct use of all kitchen machinery and equipment
6. Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
7. Complying with Health & Safety regulations
8. Completing weekly bookwork and reports
9. Stock taking and ordering
10. Previous contract catering experience essential
11. Excellent culinary skills
12. Experienced Chef Manager in a similar role/ideally contract catering producing food and adhering to recipes and menu planning
13. Excellent communication & leadership skills, able to engage and motive others
14. Experience in managing client relationships
15. Quality and process driven with particular focus on delivering results
16. IT literate (Ms Office and emails)
17. Business management within a kitchen environment
